Sunday Hunting is authorized for all Fort Liberty Hunting Permit holders. Migratory bird hunting (Dove, Duck, Goose, etc) is not authorized on Sundays IAW State Law. All deer harvested on Fort Liberty must be brought to the Check Station.
Reminder: Please report any and all game harvest when queried by iSportsman during checkout (in addition to any state reporting requirements).
Check Station, Harvest, and Other Reporting:
Your accurate harvest reporting is a vital part of Fort Liberty’s wildlife population modelling and management. Additionally, Biological Check Station data are essential to the monitoring of individual and herd health, vigor, recruitment, mortality, and disease; which in turn are applied to population management and harvest strategies. Under our current deer herd circumstances these data are critical so we may ensure that our harvest levels are sustainable. We greatly appreciate hunter support by bringing all harvested deer to the Check Station.
We also appreciate hunter support in reporting any and all observations of unauthorized hunting, harvest, or other activity. Please call PMO Dispatch (910.907.4813) to file a report.
